Why insulate your loft?
Warm air rises and, if your roof is uninsulated, escapes through the loft. Insulating the roof from the inside keeps that warmth in.
- Lower heating bills.
- A warmer loft in winter.
- A cooler loft in summer.
- Use your loft as a bedroom or home office again.
Should you insulate your roof or your loft floor?
You can insulate either the roof itself or the loft floor. If you use your loft as a living space or bedroom, roof insulation is the logical choice, as it keeps the loft itself warm too. Greenisolatie insulates your roof from the inside.
How it works with PIF Thermokussens
Greenisolatie insulates roofs exclusively with PIF Thermokussens: insulating cushions made of multiple layers of reflective foil with air pockets between them. They are lightweight and thin, so you lose very little loft space. There is no need to remove your roof tiles.
