Why roof insulation offers so many benefits

Warm air rises. In a home with an uninsulated roof, a large portion of heat escapes through the roof to the outside. Roof insulation tackles this heat loss at the point where it is greatest.

Additionally, you'll notice the difference in the attic: in winter, the space stays warmer, and in summer, it becomes uncomfortably hot less quickly. An attic that once served only as storage often becomes usable again as a bedroom or study.

How do PIF Thermokussens (thermal cushions) work?

Greenisolatie insulates roofs exclusively with PIF Thermokussens. These are cushions made of multiple layers of reflective foil with air chambers in between. The foil reflects heat radiation, and the trapped air inhibits heat transfer.

Because the material is lightweight and thin, a relatively large amount of space is retained in the attic. The cushions are installed on the inside of the roof, between or against the roof structure, without needing to remove the roof tiles.

Pitched roof or flat roof

For a pitched roof, we install the insulation on the inside, against the roof boarding or between the rafters. For a flat roof, we first examine the construction and the accessibility of the interior. During the inspection, the advisor determines which design is technically suitable for your roof.
